Until two years ago, I never thought of myself as a father.  Now, that’s all I think about!  I was born in Key West Florida, the third of four boys from a loving Mom and a strict military Dad.   I have a BA in Urban Studies from Hunter College and work as Operations Manager of a large non-profit children’s center.  My wife Shalawn, is Medical/Surgical Social Worker and psychotherapist, and my two year old son Devin, well, he works as my son.  Fatherhood is great and I hope my experience rhymes with yours.  I'll be keeping these podcasts short and easy to listen to. There will be at least one helpful idea or "ah ha" moment in each episode.  If not, please let me know at keith@malecare.com  .  Keith

Over the last few years Malecare has been at work identifying growing areas of concern for men.  High atop that list is parenting....fatherhood...being a new daddy. A father’s health, good or bad, can play a major part in the survival of the family and the road it’s destined to travel.  We are pushing forward with projects centered on fathers of small children, and reaching out with new media.  Thank you for inviting us into your homes, MP3 players and iPods.
